Yagi Antenna Design Software Free Download

Yagi Antenna Design program by WA7RAI called Quick Yagi (QY4) This 6 meter 6 element SSB yagi was designed and optimized for best feed match using 50.125MHz as the center frequency which is in the SSB portion of the 6 meter band. The older 'Quick Yagi' program was used in its design. Antenna analysis software by Roy Lewallen. • ANTENNA DESIGN FOR FREE USING MMANA-GAL SOFTWARE 1. AVAILABLE ANTENNA DESIGN SOFTWARE EZNEC and 4nec2 are based upon the Numerical Electromagnetics Code, or NEC, which is a popular antenna modelling system for wire and surface antennas originally written in FORTRAN in the 1970s.
  • With a small grain of salt. Antennas mounted in the presence of other nearby antennas or mounted very low to the ground are the specialities of method-of-moment programs like NEC. Despite these caveats, YW will get you very close to a final design — one where you can simply cut the elements and expect that your Yagi will work as advertised.
  • You'll find it interesting and educational, and you'll get many useful tips about antennas and modeling from the extensive on-line manual. It has no time limit or other restrictions, and it's free! Note: The EZNEC v. 6.0 demo also incorporates the capability of EZNEC ARRL. Click the link for more information.
